Introduction
RAZZAMATAZZ is the first in the New Generation of Rybovich Sportfishing Yachts having been built in the tradition of Rybovich design above the waterline while the hull was built to the design of Donald L. Blount and Associates; an internationally-recognized naval architecture marine engineering and yacht design firm very well known for many successful Sport Fishing Boat Designs. Don Blount was quoted in an article appearing in the May 1992 issue of YACHTING Magazine; The rules were simple: I was in charge of the wet part of the hull and they were in charge of the dry part he says Blount used his expertise to tune Rybovichs modified-V hull focusing on both performance at speed and comfort while trolling. The result is a form with inverted bell-shaped sections forward and a clean 10-degree planning surface aft. In addition Blounts design is slightly beamier at the chine a feature he incorporated to improve lift. The Design also carries a shallow hauling keel that he says has no effect on performance. One of the greatest areas of improvement according to Blount was in appendage drag. By redesigning Rybovichs underwater hardware Blount says he managed to reduce appendage resistance by 30 percent. The RAZZMATAZZ construction was overseen by Gary W. Hilliard new boat construction manager whom had been building Rybovich Sportfishing Yachts for 20 years at the time of the article appearing in Yachting Magazine. The RAZZMATAZZ is a superior Sportfishing Yacht and is one of the Best Running and Fishing Boats that I have experienced. Over the years RAZZMATAZZs owners have practiced excellent maintenance and regularly updated the boat. RAZZMATAZZ is in ready to go condition for the next Lucky Owner!
